Spring brings new life to the farm! Learn about lambing season and the chance to meet our newest arrivals.

Spring is one of the most exciting times at Dusky Ridges! As the weather warms and the days lengthen, our farm comes alive with the arrival of new lambs.

When Does Lambing Happen?

Our lambing season typically runs from September through October. This is when you'll see newborn lambs taking their first wobbly steps and frolicking in the paddocks.

What to Expect

Guests staying during lambing season often get to witness the miracle of birth and watch the lambs grow day by day. It's particularly magical for families with children.

Getting Involved

While we handle the serious farm work, guests are welcome to help with bottle feeding orphaned lambs and watching over the flock. It's a hands-on farm experience you won't forget!

Book Early

Spring is a popular time to visit, so we recommend booking well in advance if you want to experience lambing season at Dusky Ridges.
